  • The candidate should be graduated in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of the mark.
  • The minimum age to become a CBI officer is 20 and the maximum age is 27.

Physical Requirement for CBI

  • For Men, Height should be 165 CM
  • For Women height should be 150 CM
  • For Men Chest should be 76 cms with expansion
  • For Women's chest is not considered

#2. Join CBI Through SSC

Joining CBI through SSC is the more convenient way than joining it through UPSC. But don't take it in a way that it is very easy to become a CBI officer through SSC. It is easier than UPSC but still, there is a lot of competition and you need to work hard to grab this opportunity.

This tier is a descriptive paper. This paper will be in Hindi/English and the maximum mark in this paper is 100 marks and for that, you will get 1 hour.

SSC Tier 4 Exam Pattern

SSC Tier 4 exam is a computer skill test examination. It is conducted in two steps. One is DEST Test and the other one is CPT Test.

In this test, the candidate is required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes and it is in English. 

CPT Test

In this test Candidate's skills in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Generation of Slides are measured.

Salary of CBI Officer

The starting salary of a CBI officer is 44 thousand and it can go up to more than 1lac per month according to your post. One of the major advantages of CBI salary is you will get 13 months salary instead of 12 months salary.
