Respected Principal, teachers, elder brothers and sisters, and my dear friends.
Today is 15th August and we all are gathered here to celebrate the 76th Independence Day of India. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to tell something on this auspicious day.
This is a special day for all of us. On this day in 1947, our motherland India get independent from British rule. For more than 200 years British rule over India and looted us. Many freedom fighters sacrificed their life during that time. Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Subash Chandra Bose, and many others have a significant role in the Independence of India.
To observe Independence and remember our great freedom fighters, every year we celebrated Independence Day. On this occasion of 76th Independence Day let's promise together to work together to protect our country.
