I lived in a village whose name is 'Panchagaon'. It is situated in the Khurda district of Odisha. My village is a small and beautiful village surrounded by the nature. My village atmosphere is clean and pleasant. The majority population of my village depends on agriculture for their livelihood. During any festival, all the villagers gathered near our village temple and celebrated together. All the villagers are very much helpful in nature and they always help each other. There is a primary school in my village where all the children of our village go to study. I love my village very much.

My village's name is Radhakrishanpur. It is a small village in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh state. It is situated just 89 K.M from the state capital. The total population of my village is near about 1500. The majority families of in my village depend on farming for their livelihood. All of my villagers are very hard-working and worked hard in the field to grow agricultural products. My village people are poor but they are very rich by heart. They are very welcoming and hospitable. 

There is a post office, a primary school, and 2 temples, in my village. There is also a playground in the middle of my village where we all play various types of sports. Every morning, I woke up by the chirping sound of birds and all my villagers are early risers. Holi is one of the major festivals that is celebrated by everyone with full of joy and happiness. I always prefer to live in my village because it is the best place for me to live.

India is a country full of villages and the majority population of India lives in villages I am also one of them. There are more than 15 lakh villages in our country. I belong to Balrampur village. It is a village in the Jagatsinghpur district. It is about 50 K.M from Jagasinghpur. 

My village is a big village in which 5000 people live. The majority of people belong to the Hindu religion. There are also a few Muslim community people who live in our village. There is a big temple in our village and besides that temple, a mosque is also there. All the villagers live in peace and harmony. All celebrate festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, and Muharram together. A state highway No. 55 passes by our village which connects Cuttack to Paradeep. Near our village, there is a canal named Taladanda for agricultural purposes. 

There is also a market in the center of my village where the local people buy and sell things. There is also a school and a small healthcare center in my village. The majority of people depend on farming and animal husbandry in my village. There is a village panchayat that exists in my village. Both Hindus and Muslims are members of the panchayat. All the disputes are decided there so no one goes to court or the police station. Everybody is responsible for making the village progressive. There is a public library, where each villager donates books and newspapers. There is also a cooperative society that provides loans to the farmers at a low-interest rate. The people of my village live a simple life. I love my village very much.

The name of my village is Madhapur. It is the biggest village in the Cuttack district. It is situated near the NH-60 of the Cuttack district of Odisha. It is only 20 K.M from Cuttack. It is a simple and beautiful village. 

Its Population

My village is a thickly populated village. There are more than 6000 people living in my village. Out of the 6000 people, 3200 are Male and 2800 are female. It is a Hindu-dominated village but apart from Hindus, a small number of Muslims and Christians also live in my village. 

Villagers

All the villagers are very simple and humble in nature. They are sincere and hard-working. They don't tell lies to anyone. They don't waste their time. They respect each other. They help each other during hard times. They are very welcoming. Most of the people of my village are poor but they are very rich in heart.

Occupation

My village is not in an industrial area. So most of the people of my village do agriculture. Some people do business and some of them also work as daily wagers. There are also a few people in my village who depends on the river for their livelihood.

Environment

My village is a place that is far away from any kind of pollution like air pollution, water pollution, and noise pollution. The environment of my village is very calm. It is very clear and pure. As the villagers are very close to nature, they don't do anything that will harm the environment. They always try to protect and conserve our environment by planting trees and taking necessary steps.

The Beauty of My Village

My village is blessed with all-natural beauty. My village is situated on the bank of the Mahanadi river and there is also a small hill in my village. Many kinds of species live in the dense trees which are present at the end of my village. In the morning time, our village looks most beautiful with the rising sun. Many kinds of birds make the sound in the morning which is very pleasant to listen to.

Festivals

As it is a Hindu-dominated village, all the festivals of Hindu culture are celebrated. Holi is the major festival in my village in which all the villagers play together whether they are Hindu, Muslim, or Christian. Apart from the Hindu festival, Muslims and Christians also celebrate their festivals with great joy. 

Educational Facilities

There is a primary school and a high school in my village. College is not there in my village but for higher study students go to college to the nearby college which is just 2 K.M away from our village. 

Game and Sports

There is a playground in my village where the boys of my village play cricket, football, hockey, etc and the girls of my village play tennis, basketball, Kho-Kho, etc. This playground is very big in size.
